Don't leave extra cash (or even points) on the table when you're going online shopping. With just a few clicks, you can activate shopping portal coupons and cash back while you shop at various online stores and get that extra cash in your pocket. Below is a guide to what's out there and how you can find the best deal as you shop.
What are shopping portals, and how do they make money?
These websites basically track your purchases (when you allow them to) and earn a commission from a retailer when they direct you to the retailer's site. You DO NOT pay anything extra since you'll be browing directly on the site. These shopping portal companies essentially share some of their commission with you. Mnay of these portals will also offer coupons and cash back in terms of gift cards, direct deposit, or even American Express Membership Reward Points. Finally, many of them will have an extensoin to your browser that makes it easier to toggle and identify when you're on a website with a deal.
